Christantus Uche Sparks Dominant Palace Victory at Shelbourne.
Despite entering their maiden continental campaign, Oliver Glasner's side are learning very quickly. Without star players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a commanding result that virtually guarantees them a place in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further victory in their next match against Finland's KuPS ought to be enough to secure direct passage to the last 16, especially following a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Opportunity
This match provided a chance for some of Palace's fringe talent to impress. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning since joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a well-taken finish. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a second, scoring for the second game in match.

The contest was effectively over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past some comically weak challenges before calmly dispatching a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest several players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring with his very first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
Esse was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also blazed a glaring chance, indicating there is still room for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his senior debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect evening for the traveling side.
